The Power Pitch Contest Rules

1. Eligibility

- Age Requirement:** Participants must be 18 years of age or older.

- Residency:** Participants must be legal residents of the United States.

- Business Idea:** Participants must present a valid business or innovative idea.

2. Contest Period

- The contest period will be clearly stated in the contest announcement. All entries must be received by the end of the contest period.

3. Entry Requirements

- Participants must submit their business pitch via the designated entry form on the contest website.

- Each participant is allowed one entry and must purchase a ticket. Multiple entries will result in disqualification. 

4. Judging Criteria

- Innovation:** The originality and creativity of the business idea.

- Feasibility:The practicality and potential for success of the business idea.

- **Impact:** The potential positive impact of the business on the community or market.

5. Selection of Winners

- Five women will be selected by a panel of judges based on the judging criteria.

- The decision of the judges is final and binding.

6. Prize

- **Investment Property:** The five selected women will collaborate on an investment property located in the Northeast.

- The women will be partnered on the contract for the house and terms may vary.

7. Notification of Winners

- The winners will be notified via email or phone within 10 days of the contest end date. Please do not email the team.

- If a winner does not respond within 7 days of notification, an alternate winner may be selected.

8. General Conditions

- **Compliance with Laws:** The contest is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited.

- **Disqualification:** The contest organizers reserve the right to disqualify any participant who violates these rules or engages in any fraudulent or inappropriate conduct.

- **Liability Release:** By participating, entrants agree to release and hold harmless the contest organizers, judges, and any affiliated parties from any liability, claim, or damage arising out of participation in the contest or acceptance, use, or misuse of the prize.

- **Publicity Release:** By accepting the prize, the winners agree to allow the contest organizers to use their names, likenesses, and business ideas for promotional purposes without further compensation, unless prohibited by law.

9. Privacy

- Any personal information collected from participants will be used solely for the purposes of administering the contest and will not be shared with third parties without consent.

10. Governing Law

- The contest and these rules will be governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.

11. Sponsor

- The contest is sponsored by DHP.
